Allan Saint-Maximin posts on social media as Newcastle draw with Watford

Newcastle United drew 1-1 with Watford on Saturday and Allan Saint-Maximin was given an above-average rating by Chronicle Live for his performance. The 24-year-old assisted Sean Longstaff for Newcastle’s opener and created chances at Vicarage Road that the Magpies should have done better with.

Ahead of the game, Saint-Maximin posted a series of pictures and short clips to get his followers excited about the upcoming game, featuring some of his best moments from the season. The French wide-man delivered on the hype from his management team, as he was a constant threat at Vicarage Road.

Against Watford, Saint-Maximin played for 90 minutes, had 53 touches, won two aerial duels, completed 74.2% of his 31 passes, created five chances, had two shots, whipped in two crosses, made one tackle, had three successful dribbles and blocked one shot.

The 24-year-old had an eventful afternoon and may feel he should have been on the winning side for his efforts, but a draw is better than a defeat. Next up for Newcastle is a trip to Molineux to face Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday, October 2.
