Newcastle United predicted lineup vs Everton: Wissa to lead the attack as Jaissle makes changes

Newcastle's predicted XI vs Everton

Newcastle United face Everton for the second time in five days when the sides meet at St James’ Park on Monday night, with Matthias Jaissle looking to put Thursday’s Carabao Cup disappointment behind him.

The Magpies suffered a 3-1 defeat at Hill Dickinson Stadium, but now have an opportunity to respond in front of their home supporters.

Jaissle will be hoping to bounce back with a big win on home soil that could see Newcastle move up to seventh in the Premier League table. But what will his starting XI look like?

Newcastle United have collected 11 points from their opening eight league games, just one more than Everton, who sit on 10 points in the Premier League table.

Jaissle’s side have several injury concerns ahead of Monday’s game. Ewen Jaouen (thigh) and Tino Livramento (knee) are expected to miss out, while Lewis Miley remains a doubt after missing the cup tie.
