Newcastle could demand €60m for Woltemade as Bayern links resurface

Newcastle United could demand around €60 million for Nick Woltemade next summer, according to a report linking the forward with renewed Bayern Munich interest.

The Germany international is currently on loan at Juventus, but his longer-term future remains unresolved.

Tuttosport’s report suggests Newcastle could seek approximately €60m, potentially slightly less, depending on how his season develops.

That is a reported valuation rather than a confirmed Newcastle asking price.

Nick Woltemade Bayern links return

The Italian newspaper claims Bayern are considering Woltemade for the 2027/28 campaign, potentially complicating Juventus’ hopes of keeping him.

However, it also reports that Bayern have made no direct contact with either the player or Newcastle.

There is conflicting reporting over the German club’s intentions.

Writing on 23 September, Christian Falk reported that Bayern were not planning a 2027 move.

His assessment predates Tuttosport’s 29 September article, so it should not be presented as a response to that latest report.

Neither account establishes that negotiations are underway.

Juventus loan leaves Newcastle decision ahead

Juventus confirmed Woltemade’s loan runs until 30 June 2027.

Tuttosport says the agreement contains no option to buy, meaning a permanent Juventus move would require a separate deal.

The speculation follows Chris Waddle’s criticism of Newcastle’s original Woltemade signing.

For Newcastle, his performances in Italy remain significant. A productive loan could strengthen their position when deciding whether to bring him back or consider a permanent sale.

For now, Bayern’s involvement remains a matter of competing reports.
