French Ligue 1 outfit Lille are interested in signing Newcastle’s Yoan Gouffran, per the Shields Gazette.
Gouffran has been been sporadically involved for the Magpies this term, and came off the bench for just his fifth league appearance of the season against Manchester United on Tuesday.

That may turn out to be the Frenchman’s final outing for the club, with Lille boss Frederic Antonetti today confirming he is interested in Gouffran.
The player himself spoke out about his situation at the club last month, saying:
If I don’t play, maybe I’m going to leave in January. I need to be ready and to stay fit. I don’t know what’s happening after.
Gouffran had been a regular in the Newcastle side before Steve McClaren’s arrival as manager last summer, but it seems his departure would now not have a huge impact on the squad.
The winger has made a total of 81 appearances for Newcastle United in the Premier League.
