Newcastle goalkeeper Rob Elliot wants to extend his contract with the club, according to the Daily Mail.
The Republic of Ireland international was handed one last chance on Tyneside earlier this season, following injuries to both Tim Krul and Karl Darlow.
Since his emergence from the shadows, Elliot has rapidly become a hit amongst the loyal Geordie faithful, due to his consistently stellar displays in between the sticks.

The 29-year-old was told he could find a new club last summer, and was overlooked by many.
But, his performances have been so impressive that the Magpies have shelved plans to recruit an extra ‘keeper in January.
Elliot was key in the wins against Bournemouth and Tottenham, and without him, United may not have gained any points from either games.
The Irishman is hopeful of making the Republic of Ireland’s Euro 2016 squad and he is also keen to extend his stay at Newcastle.
