England winger Andros Townsend is becoming more and more frustrated at his lack of playing time at Tottenham Hotspur – and could seek a move away from the club in January, reports the Daily Mail .
The 24-year-old hasn’t featured regularly for the Lily Whites this season, with most of his appearances coming from off the bench.
Townsend has represented his country at every international level but is yet to start a single game for Spurs this season, and he was an unused substitute during their 3-1 win vs Aston Villa on Monday.

The reported unsettlement of the player could prompt Newcastle to table an offer in the January transfer window.
Townsend attracted major interest from the club in the summer, which reportedly led to a £15m offer being launched for his services – an offer that was swiftly disregarded by the Spurs hierarchy.
The winger has three years left on his current contract and even though he’s a boyhood Tottenham supporter, it seems as though he’s willing to leave in order to play more regularly.
Newcastle paid £13m plus Remy Cabella for wide-man Florian Thauvin in the summer, but he hasn’t hit the ground running yet. The continuous unfortunate injuries to youngster Rolando Aarons could also tempt the club to pursue Townsend in January.
