According to the Express and Star, Wolves are interested in signing Newcastle forward Emmanuel Riviere.
Newcastle have listed the French forward on loan and Wolves are looking to bring him in as cover for Nouha Dicko, who they have lost to a long term injury.
Riviere has failed to cut it so far at Newcastle and Steve McClaren is ready to send him out on loan in order to rediscover his goalscoring touch, in the Championship.

Wolves have had a relatively poor start to the season and after loosing Dicko to injury and Sako on a free transfer, they have missed that goal threat they had last season. Riviere could give them that goal threat back, playing alongside top scorer Benik Afobe.
Riviere is still only 25-years-old and could still yet have a future at Newcastle, however, he needs to prove he is ready to return to the first team fold. He can do this at Wolves.
If he is able to join Wolves and get a consistent run of games and goals then Newcastle may think about giving him more game time in the Premier League.
