Newcastle are prepared to offload promising youngster Rolando Aarons on a loan deal, according to the Mirror.
This news comes as a massive surprise, considering the ability of young Aarons, never mind the fact that we are really struggling in the attacking third. With McClaren already under intense scrutiny, a decision to loan out one of our most creative players would only increase the fans anger.

Aarons burst onto the scene in the middle of last season, where he immediately made an impact, scoring a goal against Manchester City in the Etihad Stadium. Since the arrival of Steve McClaren, his first-team opportunities have been limited – and anytime he has played, he has been deployed out of position at left-back.

It has been rumoured that the England U20 international has failed to impress McClaren so far, and he is becoming increasingly frustrated at his treatment. Aarons is more than capable enough to play in the Premier League, despite still being young.
He is admired by many fans for his dedication and commitment to playing football, and anytime he plays, he looks dangerous. If he was to be loaned out, it would leave Newcastle even more short in the wide departments. Let’s hope that this isn’t true, and that Aarons features more often for the Toon.
