The Chronicle understand that a trio of Newcastle defenders are being lined up for short-term loan moves to the lower reaches of English football.
With the emergency loan window opening tomorrow, Newcastle are looking to send some of their fringe players out until the new year for more first-team football, with Fabricio Coloccini, Chancel Mbemba and Steven Taylor the settled first choice centre-back options.

One of those players is young Lubo Satka, who is yet to break into the first-team set-up at St. James’ Park.
The 19-year-old impressed in pre-season, but isn’t ready for Premier League football just yet, with a number of football league clubs interested.

The experienced Mike Williamson is also being eyed up by several Championship sides on a short-term loan, having been frozen out of the first-team since Mbemba’s arrival from Anderlecht, as has Jamaal Lascelles since his arrival from Nottingham Forest.
Either Williamson or Lascelles will be shipped out on loan as Newcastle would like to keep one of them to be a fourth-choice option in case of an injury crisis, which tends to occur on Tyneside.

Hull City, Middlesbrough and Nottingham Forest are all also vying for the loan signature of French forward Yoan Gouffran.
The 29-year-old has lost his place in the team since the arrival of his countryman Florian Thauvin.
