Newcastle fans rage over reports of dressing room unrest

A number of Newcastle United fans have been reacting furiously to an update from Steve Wraith claiming that there is a mood of unrest among some players in the dressing room.

The Magpies have suffered back-to-back 2-0 defeats and Steve Bruce is starting to come under increasing scrutiny from many Newcastle supporters. That comes amid the damning statistic that his team have now had the fewest attempts on goal in the Premier League.

However, despite the growing criticism over Bruce’s style of play and inability to get the best out of the likes of Allan Saint-Maximin and Miguel Almiron, the Magpies’ hierarchy are reportedly content with their situation and Bruce retains their full support, per The Telegraph.

It has been reported that Almiron is considering his Newcastle future due to a combination of being left out of the team at times by Bruce and his desire to play in a more attack-minded system. That has only fuelled doubts over the overall harmony of the squad with the way things are progressing on the field.

Wraith took to Twitter to suggest that problems are emerging in the dressing room, and he suggested that the Magpies could need to change direction in order to regain some fighting spirit.

Newcastle fans rage at dressing room reports

Many Newcastle fans have been in full agreement with Wraith over the “awful” dressing room situation and suggested that the Magpies are risking the potential of relegation from the Premier League if they do not take firm action in the near future:
