With the transfer window closed, we finally know the twelve men Rafa Benitez bought in to help Newcastle United in their battle for the Championship title and the promotion back to the Premier League.
It was a successful window, with the club being able to get rid of the players who were unsettled or underperforming at the club. Despite twelve new signings, Newcastle United still made a profit after all those moves were done, and could find replacements to key players who departed the club, like Andros Townsend, Gini Wijnaldum and Moussa Sissoko.
Now that the squad in set for at least the next four months, and with the season already being played, let’s look at each one of the new players and known a little bit more about those lads who will be a huge part of Rafa Benitez plan to put the Magpies back in the elite of the English football.
