According to Le10Sport, Newcastle United outcasts Remy Cabella and Florian Thauvin have been involved in a lively spat with Marseille fans. The club lie in thirteenth position in Ligue 1, twelve points off the Champions League spot, much to the disappointment to their loyal supporters.
Cabella and Thauvin were heavily criticised by the majority of Newcastle fans for their displays in a black and white shirt and were subsequently sent out on loan to the French outfit until the end of the season. However, it seems the duo haven’t exactly endeared themselves to the OM faithful either.

One fan confronted Remy Cabella, claiming the 28-year-old was trying too hard to be like Cristiano Ronaldo, albeit without the end product. Thauvin, on the other hand, was said to be visibly ‘shaken’ by the player-supporter meeting.

Neither have found any consistency at Marseille. Cabella has scored just five goals in twenty-eight appearances for Les Olympiens. Thauvin has shown a little more in his brief return, but not enough though to save him from the wrath of the fans.
It’s been some fall from grace both for the club and the players.
