Steve Harper
Despite being in the Newcastle United squad between 1993 and 2013, Harper made less than 200 appearances. He was Shay Given and then Tim Krul’s understudy. 8 of his appearances came before 2000.

Pavel Srnicek was an adopted Geordie, making 152 appearances in two spells between 1991-1998 and 2006-2007. He only appeared for the Magpies twice post 2000.
