Steve McClaren looks set to hand Paul Dummett a return following a slight injury. The Welsh international tweeted about his return to training on Thursday evening.

The return of the left back will likely see the Magpies revert to their usual 4-2-3-1 formation, which seems to suit the side better than the 3-5-2 we saw at Watford.
New signing Andros Townsend should be in the squad to face the Toffees but we doubt he’ll start the game. Jack Colback may also be nearing a return to the first XI.
Questions still hang over the fitness of Vurnon Anita and Jack Colback. Anita has stepped up his return to training, but hasn’t yet been involved in a full session.
