Newcastle are looking to the lower leagues for possible January recruitments, with scouts monitoring the progress of a multitude of prospects.
After missing out on the recently called-up England midfielder, Dele Alli, the club will look to sign a number of talents who have gone under the scouting radar of top Premier League clubs.
According to the Chronicle, there are three players currently catching the eyes of many Toon Army talent spotters.
One such name is Che Adams, a 19-year-old Sheffield United striker who made a name for himself scoring two goals against Tottenham last year. The former non-league man has netted 6 goals in 19 appearances for the Blades – an impressive feat at such a young age.

Another name being mentioned is midfield stalwart Teddy Bishop, who is also at the tender age of 19.
The box-to-box centre midfielder currently plies his trade for Ipswich Town in the Championship, where he has established himself as a regular starter.
Linked to Liverpool earlier this year, Bishop is rated at £10m, which is a price that could potentially turn off any sort of move from the Newcastle hierarchy.

The last player who has been touted as a possible January signing is perhaps the most impressive of all three, one Lewis Cook.
At just 18 years of age, Cook has made 44 appearances for current club Leeds and the likes of Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea have been associated with an interest in the England U-19 star.
The Magpies were interested in the player last summer, but Leeds’ high asking price was too much to even contemplate.

Many fans feel the club need to continue their investment and it’s safe to say that any of these three youngsters would be healthy acquisitions both for the present, as well as for the future.
Which one of these players is the most exciting? Let us know!
