Newcastle United are reportedly weighing up a cut-price move for Levante midfielder Victor Camarasa, according to the Mirror.
The 20-year-old could be available for as little as £5million by virtue of Levante’s current financial troubles, making them desperate to balance their books this summer window.
Having caught the eye of chief scout Graham Carr, the Spanish U21 international has been shortlisted by Newcastle as they look to bolster their midfield ahead of next season.
However, Sevilla, as well as a number of Italian sides, have joined the Magpies in the race for the 20-year-old.
As a result of Ayoze Perez’s instant success at St James’ Park, Lee Charnley is hoping to exploit Spain’s low-cost youth once again.
