Newcastle United are among a number of Premier League clubs, including West Ham, currently tracking Bosnian midfielder Tino-Sven Susic, who currently plys his trade for Croatian outlet HNK Hajduk Split.
Susic has been made available for transfer this window, after his proposed €5million move to Serie A side Inter Milan fell through.
“I would love to play for Inter. I believe and pray that it will happen,” Tino told reporters, before the Serie A club turned their attentions to, Tino’s fellow compatriot, Marcelo Brozovic.
Having progressed through the youth ranks at Standard Liege, Susic earned himself a move to Hajduk Split, in 2012, for £44,000. Since signing for the Croatian club, Tino has scored 9 times and assisted 13 in 73 appearances.
Although Newcastle are said to have an interest in the 22-year-old, it is believed they have higher priority targets they wish to pursue this month – including MK Dons’ Dele Alli, Racing Santander’s David Concha and Sporting Gijon’s Jorge Mere.
Meanwhile, newly-appointed West Brom manager Tony Pulis has also shown an interest in the attacking midfielder, as he looks to bolster his sides attacking options.
