Newcastle United have nominated Harvey Barnes, Lewis Hall and Joe Willock for their September Player of the Month award, with supporters choosing the winner.
The club announced the three-man shortlist on Friday after a month in which all three contributed goals for Matthias Jaissle’s side.
Barnes scored against Bournemouth and supplied both assists in the 2-1 victory over Hull City.
Hall scored in that win and also set up Willock’s goal in the Carabao Cup victory over Millwall. Willock finished September with two goals while holding down a place in Newcastle’s midfield.
How to vote for Newcastle Player of the Month
Supporters can select their winner through the voting tool within Newcastle’s official September shortlist announcement.
This is the club’s KNOX Men’s Player of the Month award. It is separate from the Premier League Goal of the Month nomination Barnes received for his Bournemouth strike.
The shortlist offers supporters three different contributions to weigh up: Barnes’s scoring and creativity, Hall’s attacking influence from defence, and Willock’s goals from midfield.
It also puts the Hull victory at the centre of the debate. Barnes created the openings, while Hall and Willock supplied the finishes.
The winner remains to be decided, with Newcastle inviting supporters to have their say.
