Newcastle United have received a more encouraging Lewis Hall injury update ahead of England’s Nations League opener against Spain.
Hall sparked concern after missing England training on Wednesday, having taken part in Tuesday’s session.
However, all 24 members of Thomas Tuchel’s revised squad were reported to have trained on Thursday, indicating that the Newcastle left-back was able to return to the group.
Despite that progress, The Standard still lists Hall as a doubt for Saturday night’s meeting with Spain at Wembley.
Kick-off is scheduled for 7.45pm BST.
Lewis Hall fitness remains important for Newcastle
Newcastle will be particularly keen for Hall to come through the international window without further problems.
Matthias Jaissle is already dealing with several unavailable players, while fellow full-back Tino Livramento withdrew from the England squad through injury.
The latest updates across Jaissle’s squad can be found in Read Newcastle’s Newcastle United injury tracker.
Hall remains part of England’s senior squad for the four-game international window, with England Football confirming his selection alongside Newcastle’s Anthony Gordon.
Read Newcastle is also tracking every Magpies player on international duty.
England’s team sheet against Spain should provide the clearest indication yet of Hall’s fitness after his disrupted week.
