Newcastle fixtures against Arsenal and Brighton moved for Sky Sports

Newcastle United have had two Premier League fixtures moved after their November meetings with Arsenal and Brighton were selected for live television coverage.

The Magpies were originally due to host Arsenal at 3pm on Saturday, 21 November.

That game will remain on the same date but will now kick off at 5.30pm GMT at St James’ Park.

Newcastle’s trip to Brighton & Hove Albion has undergone a bigger change.

The match was initially scheduled for 3pm on Saturday, 28 November but will instead take place at 2.05pm GMT on Sunday, 29 November.

Both fixtures will be shown live on Sky Sports.

Newcastle confirmed the two November changes on their official website.

Newcastle Arsenal fixture moved to evening slot

The meeting with Arsenal is one of the standout games in Newcastle’s November schedule.

United host the reigning Premier League champions after an international break, with the 5.30pm kick-off giving the game a prominent Saturday evening television slot.

Arsenal are also a familiar part of a demanding Newcastle calendar this season.

When the 2026/27 Newcastle fixture list was originally released, the return meeting at the Emirates Stadium was scheduled for Saturday, 23 January.

The November home game is now the latest Newcastle fixture to move away from its original 3pm kick-off because of television selection.

Brighton trip pushed back by 24 hours

Supporters planning to travel to Brighton will need to account for a change of both date and kick-off time.

Newcastle will now visit the Amex Stadium on Sunday afternoon rather than Saturday.

It means Matthias Jaissle’s side will have an extra day to prepare following the Arsenal match eight days earlier.

Newcastle’s full Fixtures & Results schedule will continue to change throughout the campaign as further television selections and cup commitments are confirmed.

The club have said any additional fixture alterations will be announced at the earliest opportunity.
