Anthony Gordon scored four on the night, taking him to ten goals in the competition this season. The other goals came from Malick Thiaw and Jacob Murphy.

If the Magpies are able to win on City’s turf, it would be the first time since 1955/56 that Newcastle have done the top-flight double over City.
