Allan Saint-Maximin posts pic of fans and shares vid enjoying music while driving

Allan Saint-Maximin played a full 90 minutes in Newcastle United’s 3-2 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur and posted a picture on his Instagram story of young supporters wearing the merchandise at St James’ Park. The 24-year-old then posts a short video of himself listening to music in his car.

Saint-Maximin joined Newcastle from OGC Nice in 2019 and has gone on to make 65 appearances in all competitions, scoring nine goals with 14 assists. He’s been a regular under Steve Bruce this season, having a hand in five goals from nine games across the board, but he’s still yet to be on the winning team.

Despite Newcastle’s troubles, Saint-Maximin has a lot to look forward to. The North-East club have been taken over by Public Investment Fund (PIF), PCP Capital Partners and RB Sports & Media, so they have the resources to strengthen every area of the squad.

Success should follow when the team is upgraded, so the French winger could be part of something great if he’s retained. Saint-Maximin has five years remaining on his deal at St James’ Park, so he could stay in the North-East for as long as he wants.
