Andy Carroll posts picture with sons watching Arsenal v Tottenham

Andy Carroll was released by Newcastle United this summer and is still a free agent, but it appears he’s having fun spending more time with his family if his Instagram is anything to go by.

The 32-year-old went to the Emirates Stadium to watch Arsenal’s North London derby with Tottenham Hotspur and remarked about how two of his five kids (Emilie Rose, Lucas, Arlo, Wolf, Marvel) weren’t pleased that Harry Kane didn’t score.

Carroll admitted his surprise with Newcastle releasing him this summer and still remains unattached as a player, though he’s held talks with a club over a potential move, so it remains to be seen where he’ll end up.

The former England international turns 33 in January and should still have life in the legs to continue playing, but Carroll’s had so few minutes on the pitch in recent years because of injury so he has a decision to make – 744 PL minutes (West Ham) in 2017/18, 453 PL minutes (West Ham) in 2018/19, 618 PL minutes (Newcastle) in 2019/20 and 381 PL minutes (Newcastle) in 2020/21.

In other news, Fabian Schar was on the bench against Watford and posted birthday message to brother
