Miguel Almiron has been busy on social media, keeping followers updated with his activities ahead of Newcastle United’s Premier League meeting with Arsenal.

The 27-year-old posted pictures on his Instagram stories of him making popcorn at home with wife Alexia Notto and training with his teammate Allan Saint-Maximin.

Almiron often posts pictures on social media doing mundane things with Alexia, preparing a hot drink that he appears to be sponsored by. The Paraguayan international is popular among supporters, so fans might be interested in his activities outside of football.

Almiron has made 34 appearances in all competitions this season, scoring five goals with three assists. He’s been a regular under Steve Bruce and played his part in steering Newcastle away from the relegation zone.

The Magpies are currently 16th in the league with 36 points from 33 games, coming off the back of two wins two draws from their last four. A win against Arsenal could see United go 12 points clear with 12 points available, so their survival could be all but sealed after the weekend.
