Newcastle ‘Have Agreed Personal Terms’ With Ryan Fraser

The Telegraph have reported that Newcastle have agreed personal terms with Ryan Fraser and are just waiting on the former Bournemouth winger to make his decision about his future.

Terms were been agreed on ‘several days’ ago and the Magpies are now wondering why the free agent is yet to give the club a final answer.

The report claims that Fraser is keen on the switch, having told manager Steve Bruce that he is keen to move to the North East because it would mean a move closer to his family in Scotland.

Last season was a disappointing 2019/20 campaign for the Scottish international as he only managed one goal and four assists in 21 PL starts.

The 26-year-old’s season came to a controversial end when he refused to play following the enforced lockdown as his contract came to an end.

It is the winger’s previous form which has held him in high regard, his 2018/19 campaign saw him score seven goals and make fourteen assists.

Steve Bruce’s squad could definitely benefit from the Scotsman at his best, Fraser, having previously been linked with moves to the likes of Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur, certainly possess plenty of quality but it’s fair to question his motivation once again as he’s seemingly got Newcastle waiting for a final answer days after he agreed terms.
