Newcastle United fans have reacted to claims that their club are interested in making a summer move for Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos.
The Colombian striker has bagged an impressive 28 goals for Rangers this season and his form has apparently prompted interest from a number of Premier League and European sides, including Newcastle.
Toon boss Steve Bruce is said to be a keen admirer of Morelos and the striker would seemingly solve the goalscoring problem Newcastle have had this term.
The 23-year-old is said to also have received interest from the likes of Leicester City, Crystal Palace and Aston Villa, whilst La Liga sides Atletico Madrid, Valencia and Sevilla are also watching his situation closely.
Morelos was initially said to be valued at around the £25m mark, but with football at a standstill and clubs now looking closely at finances ahead of the summer – it is reported that a fee of around £13m could be enough to see him leave Steven Gerrard’s side.
Prior to joining Rangers back in 2017, Morelos has a spell in Finland with HJK, where he netted 46 goals in 62 games.
