Plenty of Newcastle United fans have shared a similar opinion to the Italian reports that suggest that Massimiliano Allegri could take over from Steve Bruce as manager of the club.
Amid numerous reports that Newcastle owner Mike Ashley is set to sell the club to a consortium in Saudi Arabia, rumours have since followed linking Allegri with the manager’s job.
Despite only coming in to the club as boss last summer, replacing Rafael Benitez, Bruce has had a moderate season with Newcastle, currently sitting 13th in the Premier League standings.
Allegri, who has been without a job since he left Juventus last summer, is said to be top of the the potential new owners’ wishlist.
During his time In Italy, Allegri secured five consecutive Serie A titles with Juve, whilst also winning the competition with AC Milan in 2011.
Area Napoli reporter Fabio Santini is certain that a deal between Allegri and the Tyneside club will happen.
Whilst Allegri has been linked, reports have also claimed that former boss Rafael Benitez could return to the club.
Following the reports of a potential move for Allegri, countless Newcastle fans have taken to social media with a similar sort of response.
