Newcastle fans react as Joelinton described as “slight doubt” for Palace clash

Steve Bruce has confirmed that Joelinton is a “slight doubt” for Saturday’s game against Crystal Palace, and that news has got Newcastle fans talking.

The Magpies take on Roy Hodgson’s side at Selhurst Park on Saturday, with the away side desperate to get back on track after suffering a humiliating 4-0 defeat to Arsenal last weekend.

Bruce confirmed that Dwight Gayle and Yoshinori Muto are both in contention for the game against the Eagles, having both trained all week following time out injured.

Christian Atsu is set to miss out with sickness and Joelinton has been described as a “slight doubt”, as he is currently nursing a sore thigh, although Bruce claims that he expects the Brazilian to be okay.

Taking to social media, a number of Newcastle fans reacted to the news concerning Joelinton’s potential exclusion, with some choosing to poke fun at the misfiring Brazilian, who has only scored one goal in 26 Premier League appearances this season.
