Several Newcastle fans believe that the club will be able to avoid relegation this season, despite struggling in the Premier League in recent weeks.
The Magpies are currently winless in three in the league, having drawn with Everton and Norwich before losing 4-0 to Arsenal last weekend.
With Joelinton still struggling to score goals up front, having only been on target once in 26 games, Steve Bruce’s side are light on attacking firepower, which doesn’t bode well for the upcoming final stretch of the season.
Among the club’s final 12 games of the season, Newcastle will face Sheffield United, Liverpool and Manchester City, all of whom are currently in the top six.
They’ll also face Bournemouth, Aston Villa, Brighton, West Ham and Watford, all of whom will be desperately fighting to remain above the drop zone.
The Tyneside club are currently seven points above West Ham in 18th, and a number of supporters are not confident that Newcastle will be able to avoid the drop for another season.
