Newcastle United have reportedly been offered a deal to sign Atletico Madrid striker Nikola Kalinic, according to reports.
Italian outlet Corriere dello Sport reports that the striker, who is currently on loan at Serie A side Roma, has been offered to the Magpies as the Italian side want to cut his loan deal short.

Kalinic has found game time hard to come by in the Italian capital, and has only started once since moving on loan.
The Croatian hasn’t really got going since joining Atletico, only scoring two goals before being loaned at to Roma.
He has previous in England, previously playing for Blackburn Rovers over ten years ago.

Newcastle are in need of some attacking reinforcements, with Joelinton really struggling to get going since moving to the Toon from Hoffenheim.
Kalinic may not have the greatest goal record, but he has been a good asset for several sides, so could be a solid pickup for Steve Bruce.
