Newcastle midfielder Matty Longstaff handed his hometown club the lead against Manchester United on Boxing Day.
It was his second goal of the season, his other also coming against Manchester United in a 1-0 win. He took the ball back off Joelinton and fired it into the bottom corner to put the Magpies in front.

READ NEWCASTLE VERDICT
Although Manchester United went on to turn it around, it was still another special moment for Matty Longstaff. The teenage midfielder has been a shining light for Newcastle this season and gave the fans another huge goal to celebrate – at Old Trafford this time.
Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford and Mason Greenwood may have put the home side in front, but you simply cannot fault the efforts of the Newcastle squad. Steve Bruce is getting the best out of his players at the moment and deserves the praise for it.
