Newcastle United confirmed earlier this week that Martin Dubravka has signed a new six-year contract with the club.
The shot-stopper has committed the next six years of his career to the club, despite being 30. Following the news, Newcastle StatZone compared his stats this season to Wolves goalkeeper Rui Patricio.

READ NEWCASTLE VERDICT
Both are excellent goalkeepers and have proven as such over the years – both in the Premier League and elsewhere, with Patricio at Sporting and for Portugal.
To pick one over the over would be harsh, with both prone to errors and able to produce stunning performances to keep their teams in games at times. For me, they are about level in terms of ability so picking one over the over is a hard task, for sure. With Newcastle bias, I would go with Dubravka!
