Many Newcastle fans have responded to Isaac Hayden’s sending off against Leicester City on Sunday, and opinions on the challenge appear to be mixed.
Hayden was shown a straight red card for a nasty tackle on Leicester’s Dennis Praet late on in the first-half, after Ricardo Pereira gave the Foxes the lead.
The dismissal proved costly for Newcastle, who fell apart with 10-men in the second-half, as Leicester ran out 4-0 winners.
And following the tackle, Newcastle supporters have taken to Twitter to share their thoughts, with some agreeing with the referee’s decision, while others suggested it was a good tackle.

Hayden’s surprise at being shown a red card for the challenge was baffling to see.
Although he initially won the ball, the tackle as a whole was dangerous, out of control and the midfielder was lucky to have not done some serious damage to Praet.
It was a rash challenge from Hayden at a time when Newcastle were certainly still in with a shout of getting a positive result from the game.
