Newcastle will come up against Tim Krul on Saturday, with the Dutchman likely to start for Daniel Farke’s Norwich.
The former Newcastle shot-stopper was preferred to summer loan signing Ralf Fahrmann at Anfield and that could continue against his old side this weekend.
Krul was a popular figure during his time at Newcastle and judging by these fans on social media, a lot of them have not forgot about what he did for the club during his spell on Tyneside.

Some are surprised to still see Krul in the Norwich team after the signing of Fahrmann on loan from Schalke.
Regardless, it will be great to see the Dutch keeper get such a good reception from the Newcastle support.
Krul, who hasn’t always been a popular figure among Norwich supporters, enjoyed plenty of great performances in a Newcastle shirt and many were quick to point out that memorable afternoon at Spurs.
Plenty of players have come and gone from the club in recent years, but they have not always been as highly thought of as Krul, who has provided fans with a lot of good memories.
