Newcastle United started their Premier League campaign with a home defeat against Arsenal, courtesy of a 58th-minute goal from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. Steve Bruce’s side put on a valiant display but were unable to match the London side.
The Magpies now take on Daniel Farke’s Norwich City at Carrow Road on Saturday. They started their league campaign with a 4-1 drubbing against Liverpool last Friday.
Newcastle’s last win against Norwich City at Carrow Road came back in 1994 when Bruce was still a player for Manchester United. They last won their first away game of the Premier League back in the 2011/12 season.
Despite their poor away record against the newly-promoted team, the Magpies are the favorites to win Saturday’s encounter given how they played against Arsenal. A lot of hopes will be pinned on Joelinton who had a few scoring opportunities last week but was unable to cash in on them.
Now, we will take at the XI that Bruce could start with on Saturday.
