Jack Colback has spoken out after being left out of Steve Bruce’s Premier League squad.
Many fans weren’t exactly surprised to see the player miss out after he spent time on loan with Nottingham Forest in the Championship last season.
According to the Shields Gazette, as cited on Nottinghamshire Live, Colback was “deeply disappointed at seeing his United dream shattered again”.
The news led to some confusion on social media, with some of these fans all having a similar reaction to Colback’s comments.

Read Newcastle verdict
Colback didn’t exactly pull up any trees during his time at Forest last season and the lack of interest over the summer in the midfielder is telling.
It is hard to envisage a way in which he would have ever slotted back into the Newcastle midfield, especially with Isaac Hayden staying at the club.
Now it looks like the player will have to settle for a last-minute move away from the club or he risks playing no football until the January window opens.
When the time does come for him to move on, it’ll be an added bonus for Newcastle to have him off the wage bill in a deal that will allow both parties move on for the better.
