Five Key Battles to look out for in Newcastle’s clash with Arsenal

After Newcastle completed two deadline day signings in the shape of Emil Krafth and the returning Andy Carroll, all attention now turns to the beginning of the Premier League season.

Steve Bruce has brought in a total of five additions to his squad, including a club-record £40 million deal for striker Joelinton earlier in the summer.

He’s had the chance to work with his squad for around three weeks now and will be hoping to get off to a good start this weekend.

The Magpies will begin their campaign at St James’ Park on Sunday, with Unai Emery’s Arsenal the visitors. Many expect big things from the Gunners this season, so it will be an interesting curtain-raiser for both clubs.
