Newcastle United could offer Mario Balotelli a shock return to the Premier League, as they look to bolster their attacking options.
In a report from The Mirror, the Italian has supposedly been banished from the OCG Nice training ground, after failing to commit his future to the French club.
This has prompted rumours of a return to the Premier League, with Newcastle named as a potential destination.

Rafa Benitez is said to be keen to bring the 28-year-old back to the top flight, where he enjoyed a successful three-year stint at Manchester City, winning the league title.
Newcastle have been struggling to score goals this season with just 15 so far, the second lowest tally. Balotelli has proven he can score goals at this level, with Manchester City and Liverpool in the past.
Balotelli could add firepower to the Magpies attack, as they look to pull away from a potential relegation scrap.
