Newcastle United are ready to make a move for AC Milan winger Diego Laxalt, according to a report on Sport Witness.
The Uruguay international signed for AC Milan in the summer transfer window but has failed to impress so far this term.

The wide man has only made eight starts for the club, making four in the Europa League and four in the Serie A.
Newcastle boss Rafa Benitez is looking to strengthen his squad for the second half of the season as he looks to steer the Magpies away from relegation from the Premier League.
The 25-year-old is understood to be happy at AC Milan at the moment but Newcastle are still set to submit an official offer soon.
Laxalt was a key player for Uruguay in the 2018 World Cup. Although he never managed to find the net, his work rate and defensive work without the ball was key for them advancing through the group stages.
