Newcastle United winger Rolando Aarons has returned to St James Park following a brief loan spell in the Czech Republic, Chronicle Live report.
The 23-year-old, who progressed through the Magpies’ academy, was sent out on loan to Slovan Liberec in the summer and turned out 13 times for the club.
Aarons, who isn’t registered to play in the Premier League under Rafael Benitez, also enjoyed a loan spell in Italy last year, featuring 11 times for Hellas Verona.

The dynamic winger has made 26 appearances for Newcastle to date, and could well feature for the club again in the Checkatrade Trophy last 16 tie with Sunderland, which is set to take place on January 8th.
Despite not being able to feature for the Magpies over the festive period, Aarons, who was once linked with the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham, left a farewell message to the Czech club on social media.
Thanks so much for the experience. I loved my time here.
The club is one big family and I will miss everybody here.
I wish everyone the best for the rest of the season.
With Aarons contracted at St James Park until the summer of 2021, it looks extremely likely that the midfielder will once again leave the club on loan in search of regular game time.
