Newcastle United have been given a major injury boost ahead of their clash with West Ham United at the weekend with only Paul Dummett missing from the Magpies’ training session on Wednesday morning, the Chronicle reports.
Five players returned to training on Wednesday at Newcastle’s Benton Training Centre having missed out recently due to injuries.
Jonjo Shelvey, Yoshinori Muto and captain Jamaal Lascelles have all missed Newcastle’s last two victories through injury, but were all present during the squad’s first-team training session on Wednesday.
Jamie Sterry, full-back, also took part in training after having been out-of-action for the last two months.
Goalkeeper Karl Darlow was the final returnee to training for Newcastle on Wednesday after he missed the Magpies’ victory over Burnley on Monday night due to an elbow issue.

Shelvey was an unused substitute against Burnley on Monday, whilst Lascelles and Muto were only left out due to late fitness tests.
All three players look likely to be named in the match-day squad at the weekend.
Dummett, hamstring, and Florian Lejeune, knee, are the only Newcastle players expected to miss out.
