Newcastle United are still keeping a close eye on the progress of Bordeaux attacker Francois Kamano, according to reports from France.
In recent months, the Magpies have reportedly watched the promising wide man in action for his side as they begin to identify targets ahead of the January transfer window.
Kamano has found the net on seven occasions in Ligue 1 this season and has seen his impressive performances met with plenty of plaudits from elsewhere.

Ahead of the upcoming window, a number of clubs have been named as potential suitors for the 22-year-old. According to claims from Mercato365, Newcastle sent scouts to watch him in action once again as Bordeaux played Dijon.
The Magpies have struggled to convince in front of goal this season and could be on the lookout for added attacking inspiration as they bid to avoid the drop down to the Championship.
Bordeaux are determined to keep Kamano but the allure of Premier League football could tempt the Guinea international to consider his options.
