Real Sociedad are interested in signing Ayoze Perez, according to a Gol Digital report (translated by Sport Witness).
The La Liga outfit had taken Everton’s Sandro Ramirez on a season-long loan back in the summer, but after a forgettable five appearances, it is understood that the club are now looking to send the 23-year-old back to Merseyside.
Once they have achieved that, it is believed that the Basque region team will chase a transfer of Ayoze Perez.
Perez joined Newcastle from Tenerife in 2014 for a fee in the region of €3 million, and has blossomed into a capable attacking option in the North East.
The 25-year-old has become a key part of Rafael Benitez’s team, having made 12 appearances in the Premier League so far this season.
Consequently, it can be presumed that any bid that would take Perez back to his home country would have to be substantial.
