Newcastle boss Rafa Benitez has challenge promising Magpies starlet Elias Sorensen to force his way into his first-team plans.
The 19-year old striker was called up to senior training for the first time this week, after having already netted 13 times for the Under-23s this season.
With Newcastle struggling to score in the Premier League this season, sections of the fanbase have called for Sorensen to be given his chance.

And following the recent injury to Japan forward Yoshinori Muto, Sorensen has been promoted to senior training.
Benitez though, has challenged Denmark youth international to force his way into the team. Speaking ahead of Saturday’s game against Bournemouth, Benitez said:
We are lucky to have some young players coming to help the first team and he did well.
He [Sorensen] has energy and movement. We are just talking about a couple of training sessions, but you could see the lad has the effort and desire to play in the first team, but it depends on him.
The players have to knock on the door by what they do on the pitch.
