Brighton star Davy Propper will miss out in Newcastle’s clash with the Seagulls this weekend, with the Dutchman sidelined with an ankle injury.
The Brighton and Hove Independent report that the midfielder will miss out on the trip to the North East with the injury, which Propper picked up just before the international break.
Speaking ahead of the clash, Brighton boss Chris Hughton said:
Davy Propper will miss the game. He sustained an ankle injury in the last game. He’ll be out for a period of weeks, how long that will be, we’ll assess it.

Brighton have had other injury worries, with Pascal Gross and Dale Stephens both having knocks before the break.
Hughton revealed that the pair could be fit for the clash, but it is still touch and go.
We’ve got some decisions to make and they’ll be late decisions.
Pascal is just back training, Dale has been out and Gaetan Bong was away on international duty but didn’t play. They’re the three we’ll make late decisions on.
Newcastle will be hoping for their first win of the season at the weekend, as the Magpies continue to struggle.
