Premier League club Newcastle United have identified West Bromwich Albion winger Oliver Burke as a transfer target for the January transfer window, according to a report on the Northern Echo.
Burke has found it difficult to get enough first-team opportunities this season and could be open to moving away from the Hawthorns in January.

The former RB Leipzig man has been promised by West Brom manager Darren Moore that he will get chances to play this season, but he desires to be a regular starter.
Newcastle boss Rafa Benitez wants to strengthen his attacking options and has had his eye on Burke’s situation for some time but will be hoping to get him at a bargain price.
The Baggies paid £15m to sign Burke from RB Leipzig last year but Benitez is not expected to be given that amount of money to spend in January.
Burke has only played in one Championship match this season and although they are pushing for promotion this season, he could be tempted to make the move to St James’ Park with the promise of more first-team action.
