The Wales international has been sidelined in recent times as he nursed a minor knock. However, he has returned to training with the club’s senior squad and appears to be back in contention for upcoming Premier League fixtures.
Javi Manquillo has been deputising for Dummett in his absence, with Newcastle recently suffering consecutive defeats to Leicester City and Manchester United.

The return of Dummett to first-team training, though, is sure to come as welcome news for Rafa Benitez, who will be looking to help Newcastle to their first win of the season when they face Brighton and Hove Albion after the international break.
Newcastle are currently sat in 19th place on the Premier League table after a winless start to the new season.
