Newcastle United winger Rolando Aarons is set to depart the club on loan in the near future amid interest from Rangers and other potential suitors, according to the Chronicle.
The youngster spent the second half of last season on loan in Italy, as he lined up for Hellas Verona.
It seems Aarons’ future at St James’ Park is still up in the air, with the winger evidently not in Rafa Benitez’s plans for the first-team ahead of what promises to be a difficult campaign.

Benitez discussed the future of Aarons in recent times and admitted that the club were not short of offers for their enigmatic young winger.
We have two or three teams interested in him. He will not be in the squad for Forest because I have to decide if he goes on loan. Clearly, it will be good for him.
He’s not playing and he hasn’t played in the last year too much either. He has the potential to be a good player so he must play.
It’s stated by the Chronicle that a move to Steven Gerrard’s Rangers is a possibility. However, the Scottish giants will need to fend off competition from clubs in the lower leagues of English football if they are to recruit Aarons on loan.
