The Venezuelan international has made an instant return to the top-flight of English football after being a part of the West Brom squad that succumbed to relegation last term.

Rondon was a standout performer for the Baggies but could not prevent Darren Moore’s side from dropping down to the Championship.
Nevertheless, he has now been announced as the latest man through the door at St James’ Park and will hope to establish himself as a key man for Rafa Benitez’s side.
West Brom have landed Newcastle forward Dwight Gayle in exchange for Rondon, with the Magpies striker joining the Championship outfit on a loan deal, too.
