Blackburn boss Tony Mowbray has confirmed that Blackburn are again interested in taking striker Adam Armstrong on loan, according to the Shields Gazette.
Armstrong joined Rovers last season and helped Tony Mowbray’s side gain promotion back to the Championship after only one season in League One.

The Newcastle striker netted nine times for Rovers in League One, and Tony Mowbray is looking to reunite with the striker in the Championship, alongside Middlesbrough’s Harry Chapman.
Mowbray said:
I think they are very much still very much in the mix, I don’t think we should be talking about other teams’ players, but I have had some conversations with their clubs.
We have lists and they are not, and have not been, at the top of those lists.
They are two young boys and I think it’s right that they are not right at the top of the lists, because if we are to be competitive in this division then we need players who have more experience, more goals and game-time in the league and understanding of it that bit better.
Sometimes targets drift away, someone buys them for £7million and you think ‘wow’.
Armstrong is currently with the rest of the Newcastle squad in Portugal, as they prepare for the new season.
